Our 2012 Christmas card, quickly stitched from 2 squares of felt, 2 contrasting strips of felt and some gold ribbon. The ‘labels’ have space for us to add our names.

And here are a selection of the felt brooches I have been making as little Christmas gifts, with thanks to Laura of Bugs and Fishes for the design. Like the cards they were quick and easy to make (from small pieces of felt  stitched together with 2 strands of embroidery thread), and very effective too:

      You are most welcome – after all, the inspiration was yours. I have been really pleased with them and have enjoyed stitching them – and the friend who couldn’t wait till Christmas to open her little package is keen to make some for her family too, including smaller versions for her grand-daughters. So thank YOU!
