This is the first year I have had them in flower – and after my seedlings failed I did ‘cheat’ and get some from Sarah Raven. I think my own suffered the same weather-related fate as the zinnias. I look forward to seeing how they do as everyone tells me how wonderful they are – except this year when you tell me yours are small and singed!! 🤣
First time I have actually had some in bloom, Beverley – they are not especially tall yet, but the heat and dryness seems to have kept plants shorter than usual this year
Mine are not doing well this year, for some reason. It seems like I have a few good years with them, and then a failure year. I have limited sun for them, and some other issues, so that must be it. Wonderful flowers, though! Great photo!
Lovely. I always have to think of Jason at Garden in a City when I see these, as I saw them on his blog first. Mine are small and singed this year!

Is that a mexican sunflower?. Several years back I had a row and they came back on their own for several years. Very tall.

First time for me, so I am just glad to have them!
Tithonia is a star, although I keep forgetting to plant the seeds 😉
I will sow them later next year as I think I lost my first batch for the same reason I lost the original zinnias
