  1. Among the faded flowers, there are still some divine dahlias in perfect condition. It is Autumn that is coming !! Some plants die and others are reborn. Cathy happy gardening. Very affectionate greetings from Margarita.

    Time to dig and store! It took me about 4 hours to dig, wash, sort and store mine today. I’ve read that dahlia tubers are edible, like jicama. Have you ever tried one?

      I think that’s what they first arrived in the UK as, a potential food source – can’t say I have tried them and I would most definitely rather have the blooms and eat potatoes instead! I will get on with some other seasonal tasks before I lift mine, unless we have another frost forecast
