Glad yours has done well too. Mine was just a rooted cutting from Halls of Heddon last year so it’s a lot of growth to make in a season. You will like my other one too, new for this year, which you will see shortly. By the way, there wasn’t enough material to make cuttings of ‘Grandchild’ this year so I shall remember it for next year
Now that’s a chrysanthemum! If we had varieties like that available to us here, I’d plant it even if I had to treat it like an annual. It’s absolutely gorgeous, Cathy!
It needs to be in a greenhouse here now, Kris, but I kept it outside over summer. All this growth has been in one season so I suppose you could treat it as an annual but take cuttings each year
What a beauty!
Wow! Well worth the wait Cathy! 😃
Yes, probably, but a whole season to get there still seems a waste of a plant’s energy somehow…!
Spectacular, Pure Beauty !!! I love. Very affectionate greetings from Margarita.
It’s amazing, isn’t it?
Amazing and wonderful. Cathy what treasures you have. Very affectionate greetings from Margarita.
And mine is in bloom too. I love it. Thank you so much, what a wonderful gift.

What magic Nature brings.
They are amazing blooms – that’s why they call them fantasy chrysanthemums I suppose!
Wow, stunning… well done, Cathy!
I didn’t really do anything, Eliza, except keep it alive I suppose – and it’s flowering better this year than last, when it suffererd from whitefly
Wowza! That’s stunning!
Um …. what is it? À dahlia?? Sorry!
A chrysanthemum, a tender greenhouse variety
Golly, I really should have known. I’ve never seen anything like it – it’s beautiful and amazing all at the same time!
It is indeed!
Oh gorgeous! Such a unique color and form!
Shame it doesn’t flower till this time of year though!!

Beautiful!
Marvelous. Color is gorgeous and form. Do you know it’s name?
Yes, ‘Salhouse Joy’ and hence the title! Wait till you see my other one though, new for this year…
If this isn’t gorgeous, I don’t know what is!
There’s a lot of foliage to put with as well as the amazing blooms though…!
How fabulous! Gown in the Coop? You must be delighted with it Cathy.
Haha – yes, my very best ballgown Anna!
Grown in the Coop I meant to say even though it’s a flower reminiscent of a frothy ball gown 😂
