Oooh I feel better just looking at those pictures! I have a friend nearby whose plants need exactly the same thing … I think I shall offer!
I was only going to refresh the compost – until I found the roots escaping from the bottom!
Ha! Well looks like you did a wonderful job!
Haha, got me thinking of the situation with closed hairdressers and long-needed haircuts, and then all the people who dye their hair and need their roots done! 😜
And that’s why I chose the title… 😉
This is a great photo story. My sweetheart did this to one of my few indoor plants that had lived, potted it in a bigger pot and now, after a few years, I can’t move it! He regularly accuses me of plant cruelty as he claims it had almost no soil left in it.
I have plants in large pots that are like that, probably no soil at all!
I have only 2 indoor plants and both are a decent size so I want to make sure I keep them! I was surprised at how little soil there was left in the pot and ideally it needed a bigger one, but I wouldn’t have had a cover pot to put it in
That is one way to keep it in close quarters. Well done. Seems like a frightful experience to me. I should do this though.
I can almost feel it wriggling its toes!
