Interesting to see this ‘drop Cathy. Am I right in thinking that the markings look slightly different on each flower or do I need to polish my specs? Is this a newcomer to your garden?
This one was new a year ago, Anna. The markings look pretty similar to me although perhaps the upper markings don’t wuite meet up on th flower on the left…I’ll try to remember to check the real thing tomorrow! It looks as if this double blom may be the only one on this year’s crop…

Did you get the chance to check the real thing Cathy? I imagine that the double blooms increase when the bulbs have been in the ground for a while.
Yes, the inner markings don’t quite meet up on one flower – and no sign of any more double headed flowers yet this year
Thanks for reporting back Cathy. Interesting – well to us snowdrop lovers anyway 😂
How exciting, it’s a new one to me.
And new to me last year
Fabulous! Snowdrop time is starting…spring can’t be too far off! Pretty in pairs!
Yes, and it’s been an easy winter so far, but we musn’t get complacent!
