That’s a remarkable garden structure, Cathy!
It’s good, isn’t it? We saw one at the Hampton Court and liked it immediately
I keep wondering about getting a ‘windmill’ wondering if it will help keep moles out 🙂 Ypurs looks stunning.
Is that not an ‘old wive’s tale’…?! 😁
One of the new projects?
Indeed, yes, building the plinth. Not a big job though – but we haven’t had so much as a gentle breeze since!
Reckon it would do OK here!
I like this latest addition to your garden. It will be interesting to watch it catch the wind.
It might even encourage me to SIT and watch! 😁
Oh this is so cool. I’d love to see a short video of it in action.
Perhaps I will – I haven’t posted a video before
I love these things and have been trying to find one for my garden for some time. This one looks perfect for yours.
Thanks Kris – we saw and ordered ours at the Hampton Court show but I see they are available on eBay (in the UK at least). Look for ‘Hampton wind sculpture’ (the name is just a coincidence!)
Cathy I love your sculpture. With or without wind it is magnificent, although a little breeze would not hurt to quell the heat, at least here in Madrid. Affectionate greetings from Margarita xx
Thank you Margarita and I hope it is cooler for you now – it is here, and with a gentle breeze too!
Yes! That is lovely. I hope you get some comfy breezes soon.
Yes, we have, thank you 😊
Very smart Cathy
We saw one at Hampton Court and knew immediately it would look look right here
