That’s a beauty!
Gorgeous. But are they Kate this year, or am I just out of sink with the date?
Kate?!! Predictive text, I expect 😀 These red and orangey ones go on flowering for ages (most of the summer?) but there are several elsewhere still blooming as well
Cathy a magnificent, extraordinary Aquilegia. I love it and it also continues to flourish in Summer. A marvel. Divine Have a very good week. Take care. Greetings from Margarita.
It is a very pretty aquilegia, Magarita
Gorgeous – looks like a jester’s hat!
Beautiful. I’ve planted some and I hope at least one of them will be as lovely as that.
They can certainly be variable – I now take out any less interesting ones that appear
Lovely! And if it goes on flowering like you say, definitely a winner!
Someone once mentioned that this colour has a different heritage and as such has a longer flowering period
A beauty. By the way, I checked out Touchwood only to find she has lost her whole collection to downy mildew. Yet another appalling plant pathogen. So sad.
Oh what a shame! I knew there was an issue a few years ago but I checked her website (I thought) and things seemed to be back to normal – must have been an outdated page 😐 Sorry for whetting your appetite. I have now read that I still need to be prepared for my plants to show signs signs of mildew even though there was no sign of it in her stock when I bought my seeds
Columbines are my favourite flower. Lovelt shot!
Aw, thank you 😀
