I grew up with the last remnants of the orchards of the Santa Clara Valley, so I really like apricot blossoms, even more than I like apricot fruit! Apples and pears are not my favorite, but my mother happened to grow up with apple trees, so likes the blossoms as much as I like the apricot blossoms! Her main tree is ‘Golden Delicious’. She never wanted a ‘flowering’ crabapple because she knows that they are not the same thing as fruiting apple trees. I though one would look really sharp in the front garden, but no. There is no substitute for the familiar soft pinkish white apple blossoms.
Cathy divine the buds and divine the flowers. I love your Blossom Apple Tree. It has to be a big beautiful tree. Have a nice week. Greetings from Margarita.
The apple tree was one of the few plants that were in the garden when we bought the property in 1996, but the person we bought it from had been there since the end of the 1970s and I suspect he planted it
Really pretty. Must be a big tree.
Just gorgeous.
One of my favorite fragrances!
Gorgeous. I love apple blossoms!
Really beautiful 💐
Sigh.
Perfect.
You really didn’t have to say anything, Cathy, How beautiful! Apple Blossoms scream spring…
Thanks Sally – it seems to be especially beautiful this year

Yes, and a mixture of open flowers and partially open buds in particular is a wonderful sight
Later on, the fruit will be a better sight.
🙂
