Beautiful! They glow in the sunshine. We’ve put fairy lights around ours so we can see them at night.
I often stand and gawp at these, Karen – they are just so gorgeous! You can see them from the kitchen window – but not in the dark!
Mine are opposite the office window, and they are all shiny in the dark. I’ve seen some uplit by a solar light which looked fantastic. Must review it and report back. xx
We have got solar lights so perhaps I can reposition one of them…
Cathy are beautiful with their reddish color. I had never thought of Karen’s idea of illuminating them: they will be precious. Greetings from Margarita.
The stems are so beautiful when they lose their leaves, Margarita
Is that a trio Cathy? They are most eye-catching. Both my cornus shrubs dropped all their leaves in that very cold weather last week and the stems are really glowing now.
Yes, three of them Anna – perhaps I should have had the green one in the middle, but I am not moving them! I still find it a little miracle that you can cut them down to the ground each year and they come back bigger and brighter every time… I was so reluctant to cut them at first!
Beautiful, I admire mine every morning! What is the name of the half red half yellow one?
That is Midwinter Fire, Anca
They are a joy at this time of year Cathy.
