Cathy those Galanthus coming out and some about to open their flowers are wonderful. Greetings from Margarita.
All covered in snow now, Margarita!
Oh, snowdrops. (I know they have various common names, but that is what one of my old editors knew them as.)
Nice to see them Cathy. I think Mrs Mac may be under a coat of snow tomorrow night!
Yes, all covered now, Brian, but with the odd bloom still visible as you will see from IAVOM!
Fabulous colors, I think Snowdrops are an English thing?
A most elegant lady and mother-in-law to a wordsmith too. She’s clumping up nicely Cathy.
Yes she is; she certainly seems to be settled
What? Bulbs in winter? How exciting. I will have to look up both names.
Mrs Macnamara is one of the earlier flowering snowdrops, but not usually this early
Oh fabulous! I do miss snowdrops… But it’s very nice having a front row seat to watch your specials each year! 😉
I am sure there will be many more in evidence on my blog and others in the next couple of months, Amy!
Is Mrs Mac s bit early?
She is indeed, along with several others – and the natives are poking their heads through too
