  1. I was going to say that makes a great cupcake, until I saw the handle & the spout! Clever!

  2. Lisa at Greenbow says:

    What a hoot. Love it.

  3. tonytomeo says:

    Is it English boxwood?

    • Cathy says:

I think it is box, if that’s what you mean by English boxwood, Tony

      • tonytomeo says:

Buxus sempervirens is what we know as English boxwood, even though it is from other parts of Europe. Buxus microphylla is the Japanese boxwood that is more common here, especially modern cultivars.

        • Cathy says:

Ah, I see – and out of interest I googled and learned that the ‘boxwood’ that was used in furniture and ‘treen’ can be the ordinary B sempervirens, whereas I always assumed it was a more tropical tree

  4. Cathy says:

What a great idea! Is it yours Cathy? I should love to trim one of my box shrubs into a shape… that has got me thinking! 😉

    • Cathy says:

Gosh, not mine, Cathy, I don’t think I would have the artistic skill to do anything as neat as that 😀 It was at Barnsdale

  5. Very cute! And probably a good deal of work!

  6. Cathy a beautiful teapot! Greetings from Margarita
