I thought “Lazing?” , ” Cathy?” Surely not ! But is it the butterflies that are lazing? Or are you taking a few well deserved minutes to appreciate that sight? 😀
That inula is a real magnet for pollinators Cathy! Sadly I haven’t seen many butterflies this year but today’s heat has bought some out which is good to see 🙂
There seem to be more this year than last though, unless that is my imagination – the yellow of the inula must help attract them, as well as the nectar
“And I love to live so pleasantly
Live this life of luxury
Lazing on a sunny afternoon
In the summertime ………”
Life is too short to laze about though, don’t you think? 😉

Gorgeous! I bet you waited a while for the butterfly to appear!
Surprisingly not – every time I walk past there seems to be a group of them 😃
One butterfly would have been impressive to capture with the camera, but three! Amazing.
They seem to love the inula, Linda
Cathy the photos of the butterflies eating on the flowers are lovely. Rest a little is not bad! Greetings from Margarita.
Thanks Margarita – my relaxing is often physical activity, like swimming and exercise classes! 😀
