Now we know why you painted the shed that color! Gorgeous!
Thank you. I am trying to remember when we first painted it (it’s actually our house, not a shed!) – but I think it was before the wisteria first flowered 😉
J & D > We have never had a house with wisteria. It’s one of those romantic ideas we’ve had since whenever, and unlikely to happen now – and certainly not in the Outer Hebrides. So we’re happy enough to wallow in the pleasure of anyone else’s wisteria. If you don’t mind, Cathy.
Thank you both – it was a real joy when it first flowered, about 6 years after planting, and I must have cracked the pruning as it flowers reliably every year
I can smell the scent hanging over this end of your garden. MMMmmmmmm.
Yes, I couldn’t decide whether to have Aaaahhh or MMMmmm as a title!
What a charming house! I love the color, certainly a sweet complement to the beautiful wisteria.
Thank you Debra
Lovely and so beautifully trained.
Thanks Chloris – amazingly it largely supports itself now, as the original wires have mostly perished
Aaaaah . . . indeed! Beautiful! I love the color of your house, too!
Cathy la Wisteria rodeando su casa es maravillosa. Cuando esté en flor debe ser espectacular y un aroma que embelesa. Es preciosa. Saludos de Margarita.
