You are on a roll lady. Talley Ho…
A wonderful Salvia!
But it’s tiny! I am sure it shouldn’t have flowers on yet…
Yaaaaaaay! I’m never sure whether to nip the first few flowers off or not 🙂 I only took a few cuttings last autumn which I’m about to pot up. May have a spare of salvia ‘Nachtvlinder’ if you are interested Cathy.
I couldn’t believe these flowers, Anna – surely they shouldn’t flower when they are so tiny? Perhaps I will google and see if they should be nipped off, like you wondered about. I am thrilled with the Amistad cuttings, which came from a municipal planter under the cover of darkness 😉 Seriously, I did email the Council and apparently the plants get thrown away at the end of the seaosn which is a crying shame 😦 A spare ‘Nachtvlinder’ sounds good to me, thank you
PS It seems that WordPress of late has taken exception to smiley faces and display squares instead …… a mystery.
They are showing up as faces when I read them, Anna – no squares…
How odd! Will set aside a ‘Nachtvlinder’ for you.
ooh..I love the Salvia..:)
