  1. Your garden has certainly been frosted. It still looks good with all the green.

    • Cathy says:

Yes, we have had quite a few days of low daytime temperatures and overnight below zero – some sunshine too though. As I rambled round the garden today the last of the leaves were falling around me

  2. Anca Tîrcă says:

The frosty garden has such a charm!

  3. Literally frosty. Looks like the garden is nodding off for the winter.

  4. Christina says:

Your garden really does look wintry now; no pretending that it’s still autumn. But is still holds its own charm and soon you will have snowdrops! and the gardening year begins again.

  5. Bodger says:

Your ferns were just waiting for a rime of frost to put on a show. You have snowdrops starting already? Soon be spring…

  6. AnnetteM says:

I love frosty photos. We had several days of really hard frost while I was away in Canada and the garden is now looking rather shrivelled. I must try to get some photos.

  7. Very nice. There’s something about a light frost that seems calming and hopeful. A blizzard or an ice storm, no. But a light frost–magical!

    • Cathy says:

Not sure what an ice storm would be like and our occasional blizzards are probably nothing like yours – but yes, a light frost is a bit like the touch of a magic wand

  8. Brian Skeys says:

Others can obviously see the picture all I get is a black screen?

    • Cathy says:

Hmm – it perhaps needs a Flash plug-in (on your device) to work…does it not say when you try and click on it? It works on my phone and tablet as well as my laptop. Let me know if it continues to be a problem although I am pretty sure it will be your device. Have you been able to see slideshows on my blog before?
