Thanks Frances, and even though there were only these 4 blooms on Wednesday, in the couple of days since more and more buds are showing colour – most exciting to see!
Gosh they are much further ahead than mine. Are you in some tropical paradise we dont know about?
Sometimes I do think we have our own microclimate as the weather is often different from just a few miles away! And since Weds the roses have come on a bundle – so much promise! Must check blog to see when they started flowering last year…
I’m still waiting with growing impatience.
Simply gorgeous! THE first roses always speak to me of miracles: that something so soft and beautiful could come from a thorny stick!
