I never appreciated the white form but your photo reveals its subtle beauty. Always a fan of the purple checkered lilies.
Yes, it does lack much of the charm of the checkered ones, but so few of them emerge when I plant the white ones that each one is a treasure
I have clumps of these growing all over…at least it looks the same…could my neighborhood squirrels be transplanting them?
Possibly, but more likely seeding around, which they do
I like the Fritillary and the song!
