It is only 2.2 x 2.2 metres so returfing was not an expensive option at all
I’m afraid I’d have a hard time remaining wordless if I accomplished such a feat.
It really wasn’t a big job at all as it is only a small area – and strangely I enjoyed the opportunity of some proper digging!

Job well done Cathy. It will soon knit together and look as if it’s been there for an age. I imagine that you may have had some appreciative robins in the vicinity when you were lifting the turf up.
