    I have a similar poppy in the garden, it is from seed saved from my mothers garden, so is very welcome just like yours.

      Yes, it’s funny how they come and go – there was a swathe of them at the bottom of the garden when we first came but they disappeared and just reappear here and there every so often. Good to have your memories associated with them…
