All will be back to normal next Monday when I will be able to spontaneously pick from my own garden and plonk the results in a vase, maybe the lovely new one I have bought while we have been away. In the meantime, do please create your own vases and leave the links on this post – see you all again soon!
How clever! And what dedication to duty! You’ve also made dandelions look good 😉 Can’t wait to see your new vase!

You are a wonderful hostess for this meme…thinking of us as you gather your wonderful little posy. Glad you seem to be having quite an adventure. Here’s my link today!

Dandelions are the first flowers we pick as children. If someone scoffs at us they may turn us away from gardening, so I celebrate your bouquet and look forward to seeing your new vase. My Monday offering is here: http://eachlittleworld.typepad.com/each_little_world/2015/05/in-a-vase-on-monday.html
Thanks for thinking of us, Cathy! Here is my vase:http://gradinameasialtefermecatorii.blogspot.ro/2015/05/in-vase-on-monday-think-pair.html

You are good. It can be trying at times hosting a meme, especially a weekly one and I am sure we all admire your dedication. Here is my weekly vase https://patientgardener.wordpress.com/2015/05/04/in-a-vase-on-monday-blue-spires/
Please have a safe trip. Will be looking forward to your return. My offering this weeK:

I was wondering what you would produce this week. I might have known you would come up with something, you are endlessly inventive. I’m surprised you didn’t fashion a vase out of a shell or something. I am joining you this week thebloominggarden.wordpress.com/2015/05/04/in-a-vase-on-m…-fairy-flowers/
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday.

When asked what is my favorite tool, I always say “my hands” but I hadn’t thought of them as a “vase”. You are full of surprises. Nothing quite so offbeat from me: http://bannersbyricki.com/archives/4504

Dandelions are great aren’t they? A proper sign spring is sprung. I’ve just posted my first Monday vase Cathy and think I’ve got the link to work from my post back to you here. No idea how to link back to my post from here though. Hopefully by next week I will have worked this out too. Thanks for all the inspiration; I’m hoping to have fun this year from my “flower patch” down at the allotment.
Hi Sarah – welcome and thanks for joining in. I will add instructions for adding the link when I comment on yours
There are often flowers to hand when you are on your travels Cathy and that small offering is full of springtime sunshine. Now why am I not surprised that you are returning with a new vase 🙂 Safe journey home.

Oh dear, you are away! Thanks for providing the ‘home’ for us to post our vases at Cathy! I hope you are having a lovely time away! Dana
Hope you are still enjoying your holiday, despite the weather up there. Your little posy of dandelions are lovely and remind me of the jar of wildflowers you posted last time you were on holiday 🙂 Here’s the link to my vase for this week:

Nothing like a fresh-picked bouquet of Dandelions. Ah … the memories. Thanks for hosting! http://plantpostings.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-new-perspective-on-crabapples-in-bloom.html
That’s brilliant Cathy, my small grandson so loved the brilliant dandelions this weekend. Pure colour and pure joy. I have enjoyed arranging my vase, even a day late! Thank you so much.
Dandelions are so bright and cheery, so long as they are not in my garden!
Here is my vase:

Oh indeed – but I came home to several flowering in my garden though!
They are just getting going in my garden at the moment too.
Well done Cathy. I thought I had posted mine via the phone. Instead it hung around in a draft, hidden from view! Take a look for me: https://digwithdorris.wordpress.com/2015/05/05/in-a-vase-on-monday/jensen-with-camellia-new-dawn
It made for an easy post doing it from my phone (in the circumstances) – but I didn’t know till I got home how fuzzy the dandelions were and how perfectly in focus the grass was!!
Good grass though! 🙂
