Well captured, difficult against the light. It is a very pretty clematis, I am of course very envious because I can’t grow them here – too dry.
I suppose I could have stood on something and taken the photo face-to-freckle-face….. That’s the trouble with being a shortie!
I do like that clematis, especially as it’s winter flowering. I thought I’d lost mine, and had planned to buy another one, but then I noticed a poor stem, trying its best! Fingers crossed for it!
Hope so – it’s like losing a friend….
I don’t think we have these around here either. Probably too hot.
Here’s my Wordless Wednesday.
Such a shame if it is, as there are so many different ones that flower at different times of year
Love clematis — of course ours are long gone for the year … snow coming in a couple of days.
Hope s–w doesn’t materialise…. or is it a foregone conclusion where you live?
So pretty. We won’t be seeing clematis for quite some time now. Just enjoying the last of the colorful leaves before they are all on the ground
Hopefully you can always find something to give you pleasure in your garden, Jennifer
Beautiful flower !
Thanks Gattina – I am very fond of this clematis
Very pretty shot of a lovely clematis.
My second sighting of this beauty. It is definitely growing on me.
I am really pleased that this one is now flowering for me, Rickii, as my original one expired.
It really highlights the fact that you can plant clematis and have blooms from early spring well into fall.
And through the winter sometimes too, Charlie, as this is a ‘winter flowering’ one.
What a beauty this one is. I love it.
Me too – looks like it’s settled down now as there are several buds dangling there and promising freckly joy
