    I never thought of growing them in glass like that. I love it, the roots look attractive too.

      I think it was the Victorians that started growing bulbs in vases – and these are specifically hyacinth vases, of some age, but you can of course buy new ones too. I haven’t had a lot of success with growing them this way in the past, but they are looking quite promising this year!

    They look a little anaemic, poor things…maybe a drop of iron would help? 😉

      I prescribe a dose of daylight – and I am convinced they were already looking greener by the time I took them out to the greenhouse for the next week or two…. 😉

    Love those vases that they’re growing in – and being able to see the roots makes them look like jellyfish!!
