Word-Wizened Wednesday

Enjoying the written word as I do I am still reluctant to be completely wordless on Wednesdays, although I have posted recipes for mincemeat and rose hip syrup this morning so it wouldn’t have been a complete cop-out for me today if this had been wordless! Today’s slightly word-wizened post shows Arum italicum ‘Marmoratum’, hanging around and waiting for winter after months of dramatic colour of  leaf and fruit:
